Q: Which dome is best for a couple?
A: Dome 2 is ideal โ it’s the most private, sleeps 4 (2 doubles), and has smart lighting. Dome 1 is also great if you want a hot tub closer to the living area.
Q: Can we have children?
A: Yes, but the site is best suited to ages 16โ45. Young children may find it less enjoyable due to unfenced grounds, outdoor walks to toilets, hot tubs, and firepits. Manage expectations accordingly. See Guest Policies for details.
Q: Is the cottage good for groups?
A: Absolutely! The cottage sleeps 10+ across 3 bedrooms, has a full kitchen, soundproof lounge (great for parties), and can be combined with domes for up to 30 guests.
Q: How warm are the domes?
A: Domes stay approximately 10ยฐC warmer than outside temperature due to their igloo-like insulation. In summer, this can reach 24โ40ยฐC; in winter, heating keeps it comfortable. Dress in layers!
Amenities & Facilities
Q: Is WiFi reliable?
A: Yes! We use Starlink (SSID: Countrylife, Password: life2025). It’s reliable for streaming and work. Occasionally varies in rural settings, but generally excellent.
Q: How do the hot tubs work?
A: Hot tubs are pre-heated to 30โ35ยฐC and auto-heat by 1โ2ยฐC/hour. Use the control panel to adjust temperature. Keep the lid on for efficiency. No glassware for safety.
Q: Do the projectors have movies/apps?
A: Yes! Each dome and the cottage have projectors connected to Firestick (PIN: 1234). Access Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, etc. Just log in with your account!
Q: Can we use the BBQ and fire pit?
A: Yes! Fire packs (logs, firelighter, charcoal) are available for ยฃ15. Use in designated areas only. Always fully extinguish before bed.
Q: How far are toilets/showers from the domes?
A: About 20โ50 meters (outdoor walk). This is part of the glamping experience! Facilities are clean, modern, and shared. Bring a torch for night trips.
Q: Is there phone signal?
A: Generally yes, depending on your provider. Emergency calls (999) work on all networks. Download offline maps if you’re concerned about coverage.
Pets & Animals
Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Yes, in most units! Extra ยฃ10 charge on Airbnb (manual payment link on Booking.com). Note: The site is unfenced, so dogs can escape. Supervise pets at all times.
Q: Can I bring other pets (cats, rabbits)?

Q: Can we smoke?
A: No smoking indoors. Outdoor smoking is allowed in designated areas, away from other guests.
Q: Is there parking?

Q: Can we have parties?
A: Yes! The cottage has a soundproof lounge perfect for parties. Outside, keep music/noise quiet after 10 PM (respect neighbors). Large events can use the 1-acre field.
Q: What about rubbish?
A: Use the orange bin only. No littering in fields. We’ll arrange collection during your stay.
Q: Can we bring our own drinks?
A: Absolutely! No restrictions on alcohol or beverages. Just keep glassware away from hot tubs.

Q: Projector won’t turn on. What do I do?
