Most glamping sites use professional wide-angle lenses, colour-saturated sunsets, and hotel buzzwords. We charge from £49 midweek and £99 on weekends. To deliver those prices in the English countryside, we make deliberate, transparent compromises. Here is exactly what to expect before you book.
You never have to guess what your dome looks like. On the afternoon of your check-in date, once our cleaning team has completed turnover, LunAI sends you the unedited, timestamped inspection photos of your actual unit. Original timestamp metadata is recorded and available upon request. What you see is what you walk into.
On the afternoon of your check-in, our cleaning team submits timestamped turnover photos of your made bed, sanitised bathroom, hot tub water level/temperature, and unit amenities. LunAI scores the clean and sends these photos straight to your phone. Original timestamp metadata is permanently logged and available upon request. If anything was missed, notify us immediately on arrival so our team can resolve it.
Our hot tubs are completely outdoors, surrounded by country air. We target a steamy 35°C. However, ambient wind, sub-zero frosts, and rain naturally affect heat-up times and heat retention. Tubs must remain covered when not in use.
Having our outdoor BBQs shining clean for every single guest would add £15–£30 per booking in turnaround labour. We decided to focus on everyday value instead so we can deliver rates from £49 midweek.
We operate a strict “please leave it as you expect to find it” policy. Firepit and chiminea ash is naturally seasoned and intentionally not cleared down to bare metal between bookings. Wood supplies provided on-site are for firepit and chiminea warmth—guests bring their own standard cooking charcoal for BBQ grilling.
Glamping structures are insulated fabric domes, not brick-and-mortar homes with central heating radiators. Heaters and cooling fans are provided and are subject to outdoor weather. In winter, dome heaters will comfortably raise the interior temperature by 10°C to 15°C above outdoor ambient temperatures. Each unit has a strict 3.6kW circuit limit—plugging in domestic high-draw appliances (e.g. hair dryers while running two space heaters) will trip the safety breakers.
Bullington Hall borders open fields that have been farmed for hundreds of years. In warm months, country moths, beetles, and dragonflies are part of the ecosystem. In cooler months, field mice naturally inhabit the surrounding acreage. It is strictly required that guests never leave open food, sweet snacks, or takeaway boxes unsealed inside the domes.
If you arrive and immediately realise that glamping in the countryside is simply not for you, let us know within two hours of arrival. We offer a transparent early departure percentage refund rather than forcing anyone to stay somewhere they don’t enjoy. For minor operational inconveniences that are reported and resolved, our fair dispute credit cap of up to 10% applies.
